Florida Vacation Day 1 ~ Captiva Island

Well we finally made it back to Florida to see Roger and and Sharon.. it's been a very looooong cold winter so a week of sunshine, beach and more sunshine was just what we all needed!  And if never fails.. there is just never enough time to do it all!

The waves were great today out on Captiva Island.  The water was a bit chilly but not for these Midwestern gals!

Beaches keep us busy!!  Swimming...sandcastles... walks on the beach... and a lot of reapplying of sunscreen!

We ended our day at the Lazy Flamingo for some yummy food, cold beers and a little ring toss! And I know you all know this but Lauren is really just holding my mug of beer.. I don't DHS to see this and think that we serve our 7 year daughter beer!!
