This supposedly is her last performance. She didn't want to cheer next year.. but she is starting to waiver... we will see what the final decision is!!

Elise is the last segment.. the Iowa Energy sent this video to our coach.  She is in the Gold Squad and starts on the far left, mid way back.  It was a fun night for the girls!!

ISU vs K State

Up at Hilton Coliseum in Ames for the ISU vs K State woman's basketball game.  Elise and her cheer squad are cheering at half-time.  Sad to say that I am an ISU grad and this was the first basketball game I have seen at Hilton!

So we ran down from the second level because we saw Cy running around on the mezzanine level.  The girls really wanted their picture taken with him.  So one of the girls ran ahead and tugged on his arm and asked for a picture, he was annoyed about something and pulled his arm away from her and ran down to the court.. totally blowing off 8 little girls who just wanted a photo!  I was NOT happy and the girls were pretty upset.  They kept asking why he did that.. I have no idea. 

So.. we just took a group photo and headed back to our seats!

Elise and her cheerleading squad got to go out for a "pre-game" cheer at the Minnesota Timberwolves game.  They did a great job!   And Elise did her best cartwheel yet!

The girls went down to the tunnel to cheer the Timberwolves on as they came back out on the court for the second half.  It was a little anti-climactic.  They don't all come out as a team.  They just come out one or two at a time, some walk, some run and then waitresses walk through with food and drinks... but they had fun!  It was a great experience for them all.
