I found this place as I am searching for something fun and unique and not so terribly expensive for our anniversary this year. We started with planning a HUGE vacation to some island in the Caribbean but after painting the house and putting on a new deck this year, it's out of the question. So we thought maybe Florida... but we really want to do that with the kids. So I have been pondering, what would be something we haven't done before but right up our alley?
I stumbled upon this awesome house that is a Bed and Breakfast in Red Wing,MN. I was there years ago as a kid and remembered how cool of a town it is. It's about a 4 hour drive from here but the town looks so fun, an old river town, with cool stores and restaurants, hiking etc. We may even be able to time it for the fall leaves to be in full bloom. I am for sure running this one by Eric tomorrow.

15 Year Anniversary Ideas

| http://www.southernmostresorts.com/ This place is amazing.... there is a package where you get a full day for 2 adults to snorkel, kayak and parasail, end the day with a sunset sail... a little bit of heaven. But... it's expensive and not all inclusive. On the other hand, it's in the US and should be easy to get to. The Florida Keys are basically in the Bahamas, it's the southern most point of the US. Hmmmm, I said I wouldn't go to Florida since we go alot but this place has me thinking. And there is a ton of fun things to do here!!! Holy buckets that is a looooong bridge. We just can't go during hurricane season. http://www.snubakeywest.com/?utm_source=TDC_Website_fla-keys_com&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=TDC_Link_advertising http://www.sail-keywest.com/?utm_source=TDC_Website_fla-keys_com&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=TDC_Link_advertising Ft. Jefferson and the Dry Tortugas. There is a day trip over to this island with amazing beaches, a little history and snorkeling. Sounds really cool. A few more things: |
