Yeah... I have been horrible about this.. I have a few here and there so here goes...

#9. Homemade... pasta salad, a little change up for lunches instead of sandwiches!



#10.  Favorite drink- Michelob Golden Light... not sure it is my ALL time favorite but I do love a cold beer.

#13. A treat-  Most people can't stand these... but I LOVE them... Eric bought me one.. darn him.. I have to wear a swimming suit in Florida in a month!!

#14.  Share:  I am sharing the awesome artwork from my girls, these are just a snippit of the collection.  I can't part with any of them!  The first two are Elise's and the last two are Lauren's.

#16.  Sun Ray... I wish I could say that I have a great photo of  one but that would mean the sun has been out... and it hasn't.... nothin' but cloudy, rainy, snowy skies lately... depressing!

#24.  A Dream:  These are my inspiration to re-decorate my house... so many dreams so little time... you can also refer to my kitchen photo.. that's a dream as well.  Lots of whites, blues, grays.. maybe a little yellow chevron here and there... I have LOTS of ideas.. now to just put it together!!

 

Day 6-8... catch up time!

This is my watch that Eric gave my for Christmas 2 years ago... another one of my LOVES.
I didn't want to take a photo of my outfit... not impressive, so these photos are photos of what I wear frequently!!

So this is my hair.. I know.. hair.. a strange topic but here it is.... curly and dirty dishwater blond!

And last my not least... this is my BIGGEST nightmare of my entire house.. this dang counter... I can't for the life of me keep it clear... SO... I am trying to finally go paperless for bills to help eliminate the papers... I am going to get rid of this metal thing because it just piles up junk!!

More pain!!

I bought this adorable file cabinet at Target and filed ALL of the important things and it is going to sit below that counter and I will keep the smaller metal holder for bills that I can't do online bill pay with... maybe it will make my life a little easier.  I think I filled 1/2 of my recycle tub just going through PAPERS!!!

Day 5 ~ Something Sharp

I was tring to be creative when thinking of something sharp... and thought as I was opening a bottle of wine.. oooohhhh, this is sharp! (and I am a tad behind... Later I will get yesterday and today's post)

Day 4 ~ Where I sat

This is where I sat/sit when the girls read their books to me.  This is also where I sit when the fireplace is on and the lights are off.  We all sit in the living room.. and usually fall asleep!!  It's Heaven!

March Photo-a-Day Challenge ~ Day 2/3

#2- Morning

This is about 7 am and the sun is starting to come up.  It's pretty cold out (about 18 degrees) but the birds are chirping which is a good sign.  Now that it's March, it seems like spring is so much closer... the days are getting longer too.  It's so nice to not be pitch black out at 5:00 pm.

#3- Kitchen
This is my current, dark, drabby kitchen that is in desperate need to come out of the 1990's!!  We are getting new windows and floors this year but this will be my next project to tackle... We can't afford to replace all of the cabinets but I will be painting them for sure.. that may even get hired out so it looks "professional".  Here are some inspiration photos below... not exactly what I want but you get the idea... bright, cheery, clean.. ahhhh it sounds wonderful!!

I have wanted a kitchen nook FOREVER!!  They are just so awesome... I think I could make this work...now the question is.. would Eric be on board???  :)

 

March Photo-a-day Challenge

So I totally stole this idea from my sister's blog and she got it from http://www.theidearoom.net/ , because I thought it was a great idea... something fun.  I have been pretty absent with the blogging lately... life has just been hectic and I haven't had much time for anything else but kids.. activities.. and kids..
So, I thought this would be fun.. now if I can just remember to do it.  I am 2 days behind.. but will start with #1 and then combine the next two!

So I couldn't really decide which clock to put on... or even if I should put any of my clocks on.. I don't LOVE any of them but this one has special meaning.  It was given to my by my Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dick Barta as a wedding gift back in 1997.  It was hand carved at the Amanas.

I could not resist putting this clock up becuase it is just funny to me.. this clock quit working oh.. about 5 years ago.  I like it and it's the perfect size above my mantle.. AND there is a big chip behind it so it covers that.  This clock tells the correct time two times a day!!
