Miss Elise turns 11!

Saydie Monahan, Paige Peterson, Natalie Freundl and Elise.. what a great group of girls.. they had so much fun! We got a room at the Ramada for Elise's birthday party... lots of swimming, giggles!

It was "thirsty Thursday" so I had some Blue Moon for $3 and read my Kindle.. it was great!

Miss Sassafrass Lauren

This may be the last year 4 girls fit in a king size bed!

So the girls found this group of boys about the same age and started playing volleyball.. somehow Paige ended up on thier team.. it was hilarious.  Even the life guard was getting into it.  Keeping score and calling the shots.... pure entertainment.

So this little guy took a liking to Lauren and hung out with her all morning. They went down slides together, swam and threw the ball around... he was so stinkin' cute.. all 2 1/2 years of him!

This turned out blurry but oh well.. what a fun night.. now it's time for a nap.

Last year of SINGLE digits for Elise

Elise picked out these cupcakes on Pinterest... LOVE them. Every year I try to find fun cake/cupcake decorations for her birthday (and Lauren too). It's the simple things that make them so excited and I hope this is something they will pass down to their kids... make birthdays special!!

I had to scramble and come up with ideas because the plan was to go to Sky Zone to jump on trampolines but Elise has a bad cold/cough and that wasn't going to be good for her Asthma.. so.. we had it here (which was a lot cheaper too). 

Making Halloween Frames

This game was really fun.. I put about 25 things on the tray and gave them 30 seconds to try to remember what was on it.. then took it away and they had to remember what was on it and write it down.  I think Natalie won with 10 items!

Great Grandma turns 90!!

We headed to Seymour Indiana to visit Great Grandma Hubbard. It had been way too long since we had last seen her. She turned 90 this past April so we had a late celebration with her. The girls had so much fun and they were so good to Virginia. We all cried when we left, just wish we were a little closer. It was such a fun visit.. too quick but fun... oh and hotter than Hades out there!

The girls had so much fun with Great Grandma! She even took them shopping to Wal-Mart today.

4 Generations of Hubbard's! This is so great in so many ways to me. This is something not a lot of people get to see. My grandparents were all gone before I had kids.. pretty special that we have all of these people in our lives.

I am hoping Sharon got a better photo on her camera.. this might be as good as it gets!
