We spent the morning at Down Town Disney. It's basically all shops and there is the biggest Disney store there that is great for souvenirs.
You have to use caution when you walk under Stitch, he spits water at you!
This was a really cool Lego store. There is lots of hands-on inside and outside there were huge figures all made from Lego's.
After downtown Disney we went back to our room for lunch, went swimming for a bit and then headed over to Magic Kingdom. We went about 3:00, got some rides in, met Rapunzel( which we had passed up the previous visit because the lines were horrific) and then we stayed for the electric parade and fireworks show called "Wishes"
Riding Transit Authority.. the girls likes this because it went through Space Mountain
Elise on the Buzz Lightyear Ride
I went on the Asto Orbiter with the girls and then felt like I was going to throw up for about 20 minutes, it just goes in circles, but fast... not so fun anymore for me.
We stumbled across a short line to meet Rapunzel so the girls were really excited. They had coloring pages and crayons for the kids while they waited. I wish they did that more. It really helps.
Tangled is one of Lauren's favorite movies and this was really fun for her. Rapunzel is her favorite princess!
Waiting for the parade to start. We met this wonderful couple who were from Burlington Iowa and they let us share the curb with them. It was really hard to find a spot so we were very thankful for them. They got a kick out of the kids. The man used to work for Disney so he had a lot to tell us. When the fireworks show started Lauren couldn't see the castle very well so he put her on his shoulders. They were so much fun. When we said goodbye I thanked them for letting us steal part of the curb and they said "no, thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us, it made our night". They said all of their grand kids are in college so they don't get to enjoy the young kids anymore and that's why they love Disney so much. They were good people!
Only $10 a balloon that will deflate by morning!
Main Street at night.
