Happy 4th of July

This weekend has been so much fun.  We hung out with neighbors all weekend, swam in blow-up swimming pools, slid down slip-n-slides, drank cold beverages, grilled burgers, caught fireflies and ended the evening with sparklers.  I have to say that we have awesome neighbors.  Ryan and Katrina Davis have been next door since we moved in December 2001.  They have 2 boys Jayden and Nathan and they are close to the girls age.  These fun times with neighbors remind me of my childhood when our parents stayed out late and put us to bed early.  It is so nice because we can put the kids to bed and then go next door and hang out on thier deck as late as we want.  I love summer days with the kids when there is no agenda and it just unfolds to all sorts of fun.  Tonight we are heading out to see fireworks with Roger and Sharon and hopefully catch the parade in the morning.  Bring on the crappy candy they toss out.  The kids don't mind, they just love scurrying around to see who can come home with the most loot.  P.S.  I can't figure out how to get this stinkin' font set to the right one.... oh well.
